DAWGit
Git for your DAW — version control built for music producers.
A native desktop app that brings real version control to music production. Producers snapshot a full session in one click, branch alternate takes, and sync across machines — without learning Git or bloating their drives with audio. A TypeScript core reads each DAW project file to build a human-readable history of tempo, track count, and plugins, all wrapped in an Electron app with its own Stripe-powered licensing and Cloudflare-backed cloud sync.

What it does
One-click checkpoints that snapshot a session and auto-extract its tempo, track count, and plugins into a readable timeline
Branch alternate takes and arrangements, then diff or roll back to any version
Smart per-DAW ignore rules exclude audio by default, keeping project history lightweight
Native parsing of Ableton, Logic, FL Studio, Pro Tools, and Cubase project files
Cloud sync and one-command restore across machines (Cloudflare R2, presigned uploads, per-license quota)
End-to-end licensing: Stripe checkout, key issuance, device binding, and offline grace — signed & notarized for macOS (Apple Silicon + Intel)
